“What is Honeymoon Cystitis, Causes, and How to get Rapid Effective Relief”
The term honeymoon cystitis comes from a time when the first time that girls or women would have sex would be after their wedding, or on their honeymoon. Times have now changed a lot and for most women, and waiting until after being wed to have intimate relations with your partner is a thing of the past. However, for some women, this may still be the case and their first encounter with cystitis may be on their honeymoon.
There is however, no distinction between normal cystitis or UTI and honeymoon cystitis, they’re exactly the same thing, a bacterial infection in your urinary system. The reason people relate it to the ‘honeymoon’ or sex is that the bacterial infection quite often (although not always) starts when you have intercourse.
Honeymoon cystitis: Causes
So how does it actually happen? During sexual intercourse, bacteria from around yours or your partner’s genitals (it doesn’t matter how clean you both are – they’re just there) can get pushed into your urethra due to the friction, where they multiply and cause an infection. It could also happen, if your partner is particularly well endowed, that your bladder gets slightly bruised during sex and that can cause a bacterial infection too.
Once the bacteria is in your body, it attacks the cells on the walls of your urinary tract, which causes the painful burning when urinating and some people see blood in their urine from the cells breaking down.
There are lots of things you can take for honeymoon cystitis to keep the symptoms at bay, but if left untreated, the infection can travel up from the urethra, through the bladder and up to the kidneys, where the infection becomes much more serious.
Honeymoon Cystitis: Treatment
I used to suffer from honeymoon cystitis or UTI several times a year and for me, antibiotics weren’t the solution I wanted for my body. I searched and searched on the internet until I found D Mannose powder. It’s been an absolute Godsend and I’d like as many people as possible to be free from UTI like I am now.
Because D Mannose is a natural cure that comes from a tree extract, I feel completely safe in the knowledge that I’m not damaging my body of that of any of my friends or family who take it also. If you are suffering from honeymoon cystitis, UTI, bladder or kidney infections, give D Mannose a try. You’ve got nothing to lose but that nasty infection.
Take care and stay healthy!
